DING DONG THE WITCH IS DEAD!! JUSTICE HAS BEEN SERVED!!! So much going on but this is the biggest news! I hope he felt nothing but searing pain before he died!!And I hope this brings a small slice of closure to those who lost lost loved ones on 9/11. This in no way means the war is over they’ll slide somebody else right up into that position, still a long way to go on this war but certainly a moral victory for our troops as well as our nation!!! We all bitch & complain about it but there’s no other place I’d rather live!
So check out what happened on Sunday at my “Jazz Gig”. Last Sunday was Arbor Day so when I got to the Planting Fields there where already people mulling’ about! I get in there and the workers at The Garden Room say ,”She didn’t cancel you?” Me “No! Them ,” Well you can’t play today it’s Arbor Day and there’s too many people!”(Too many people, isn’t that a reason to HAVE MUSIC!). Me, “Sure pay me and I’ll go home!” Them,” A little understanding will go a long way”, Me,”Tell that to my son who is now playing a baseball game that I should be at!” Bottom line, we played one set and the owner made us stop! Why she made us stop I’ll never know there were plenty of people there she was doin’ good business. We sounded great we were kicking Jazz-Ass! But none-the-less she wanted us to stop so we did and I’m sorry to all who showed up to check us out! Hopefully we’ll be there again soon so you can get your Jazz on with us!
So, like I said before, this is a year of change! No Acoustic Wednesday’s at The Crescent Club this year!! Good run on that one but it ended last year!!To many disagreements with Bill,(Head person in case your wondering) Now I’m gonna try to get everyone to go there and ask for Bill Miece and you have ask for Bill cause if you tell anyone else there it will never get back to him. He’s the decision guy. Say,”Where is the guy you usually have?”‘This is the worst mistake you’ve ever made Bill!””Bring back Mike Dorio and pay him double”! LOL!!! Ah if only it were possible I’d love to shove that in his face! None-the-less, we move on once again!
