Yeah Baby Yeah!! Had a great weekend! (Sorry Jen gossip first this week!). We had a Family reunion Barbecue yesterday,(July 6th). Saw almost all my cousins that make up my childhood! Barbecued some great food , had a couple of big long laughs taking about the past. Had a few more laughs just taking with them , played with the kids Whiffleball football man it was a complete fun day! But I gotta tell ya I was exhausted but satisfied at the end of the day.

Tuesday July 8th ahh this is a big one!!! The acoustic open mic is about to explode and I’ll tell ya why but first lets take care of the business. O.K. lots going on this week! First of all the featured artist is a very special friend of mine that I’ve known since I was 5! Second he’s one of our very own regular jammers that comes every week and is loved big time by everyone in the crowd! Third his songwriting talent has gotten bigger & better every year!!!He is our very own with lots to say……..wait for it……………MIKE HEANEY!!! Mike has a few nicknames one is DASIlVAHFOX but I think I’m gonna go with MIKEFRICKINHEANEY!!! Now as if that wasn’t enough my Sister & Bro-In Law are in town from San Francisco!! AAAAND! It was my sisters Birthday on the 3rd!!! So she’s gonna play the Ukulele for us, John,(my bro-in-law), is gonna play guitar with us and bahm! We are soooo bi-coastal!!! Big night down at Jacks and it’s the last one before I go on staycation so do not miss it!!!I’ll go on at 7 and bring Mike up at like 8:15 or 8:30 . Then we’ll do the jam as per usual!!
Thursday July 10th I make my triumphant return to Jewel!!! These people were cryin’ last week Cryin I tell you that I was not there!! So this week I expect to return to enthusiastic cheers and nothing less!
