Now check this out this gets dubious in here so just bear with me. 2 weeks ago I had spoken to Jim Hart about doing a “Featured Artist “ Spot. He was in Florida at the time but said he & Liz could do one in a few weeks. O.K. so somehow I think we still have another week before Liz & Jim are the “Featured Artist” so I book Ed West for this week!! DUH!!AHHHH But alas,“featured artist’ karma was with me! This morning I get a phone call from Ed West , he’s sick he’s got that stomach virus thats going around and cannot do tonight. I then call Jim Hart just on a hunch that he’d possible be in town and sure enough, he says to me, “yeah we’re supposed to do tonight”, I say “Of course Jim you make some phone calls and get some phanny’s in the seats and I’ll send it out on my blog and get all of Western Civilization down there damn it!”So lo-and behold tonights featured artist are Liz & Jim Hart!! The Harts!! I’ll start at 7 and bring the Harts up at like 7:30 or 8 in there somewhere. Good music and a few laughs don’t miss it! The Harts will play for an hour or so then we’ll do the open mic as usual!!!

Jewel is on the Southwest corner of Broad Hollow Road,(Rt. 110), like on the service road of the expressway,(on the side thats going East).If your traveling from the city, you get off at the route 110 exit,(I don’t know what number that is), and at the first light you come to Jewel is on the right!!Place is Cool! Thats all I can say!!
